Our centre is a non-government, non-denominational agency. We are an “Approved Relationship Counselling Agency” which receives funding from Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and indigenous Affairs (FAHCSIA ) to provide relationship counselling and group work to people from diverse backgrounds. We also offer an education and training service providing a range of professionals with training on all aspects of relationship work. You can download our infomation brochure here.

Who can benefit?
Anyone who is moving into or involved in a relationship or adjusting to life after a relationship has ended.
Counselling about a relationship is more helpful when both partners are present, however, you can come by yourself if your partner is unwilling or unable to attend.
We can also assist parents who are worried about their children’s adjustment to your changing relationship.
Who are our relationship counsellors?
Our staff consists of qualified counsellors, psychologists, social workers and educators who are experienced relationship counsellors. They understand today’s pressures on relationships and families and are sensitive to the diversity of family types and cultures that exist.
Group Work
Some people prefer to take part in Drummond Street Relationship Centre’s facilitated groups. These informal groups tackle topics such as:

- Conflict resolution for couples
- Preparing for parenthood
- Enjoying a toddler
- Parenting adolescents
- When a partner has depression
