Can we help you?

Yes, we can. We provide an opportunity for you to explore the difficulties you may  experience in your relationship and our counsellors will assist you and will help you to deal with them constructively. Our aim is to build a support system for all the parties involved. The time this takes varies from case to case. The length and frequency of sessions is  negotiated between you and the counsellor.

Who can benefit?

Anyone who is moving into or involved in a relationship, or adjusting to life after a relationship has ended.
Counselling about a relationship is more helpful when both partners are present, however, you can come by yourself if your partner is unwilling to attend. We can also assist parents whose children’s welfare is affected by the couple’s relationship issues.

Who are our relationship counsellors?

Our staff consists of qualified social workers and psychologists who have completed additional training in relationship counselling and are sensitive to diversity issues. Some have had overseas experience.

To ensure quality of service, all staff members are involved in continuing professional development.

The process of counselling

Counselling provides a space for couples and families to address patterns of interaction and communication that are limiting their capacity for a productive and fulfilling life.
Counsellors are trained to listen with understanding and have developed skills to bring about change - the change you need. Counsellors do not judge or dictate what you should do, but work with you to identify appropriate solutions for your circumstances. Our relationship counsellors are committed to the strictest confidentiality and code of ethics.
